In 1999 Alphaville released 'Dreamscapes', an Anthology Box containing lots of demo versions, unknown remixes, rare live recordings, all the flip-sides and band-internal experiments. It covered the period of 1978 to 1998. Not a single song featured on Dreamscapes had ever been heard before that release in this form.

The Anthology Box was strictly limited and sold out in pretty short time. Soon it gained cult status and fans had to pay immense amounts to get hold of a copy and to be able to listen to the songs. "For us it was clear not to re-release an identical copy of that box", says Alphaville singer Marian Gold "we gave a promise to our fans when we released Dreamscapes - every box is unique and not reproducible. Limited is limited".
Requests have not stopped eversince that's why the band has now decided to give a special surprise to their fans: 92 songs from the legendary DREAMSCAPES Anthology Box are featured on DREAMSCAPES REVISITED, a sincere selection by Marian Gold and Bernhard Lloyd.
